Recently, Nor-Feed, a subsidiary of Adisseo, as one of the initiators of the Low Carbon Agriculture Consortium, has signed a green memorandum alongside other member companies with the consortium to launch a joint initiative for promoting sustainable agricultural solutions and meeting the demand for low environmental impact.
The Low Carbon Agriculture Consortium was established in March 2023 with the support of Stratexio, a business leaders’ organization created by the French Association of Large Companies. The consortium is divided into two clusters: crop production and feed production. It brings together industry enterprises committed to reducing the carbon footprint of agriculture, aiming to promote and develop related products and services across the globe. Any companies that intend to join the consortium must demonstrate their efforts in low-carbon agriculture through actions such as product lifecycle analysis, corporate social responsibility commitments, and B-Corp certification.
As a company specializing in plant extracts, Nor-Feed is dedicated to helping farmers and feed companies reduce carbon emissions through natural plant extracts while achieving better performance in animal production. Nor-Feed became a subsidiary of Adisseo in 2023. Moving forward, Nor-Feed will collaborate with other members of the consortium to write a new chapter in green development, promoting sustainable agriculture and building a resilient low-carbon economy.
