In the annual benchmarking report from Position Green (previously known as Governance Group) announced today, Elkem has been awarded an A, showing excellent reporting in line with best practice external expectations.
The last five years, Position Green / Governance Group have assessed the top 100 listed companies in Norway when it comes to their ESG reporting.
Elkem received an A for the first time in this years index. A company that is awarded an A shows “excellent reporting in line with best practice. Good description of material issues and performance in these areas. Clear strategy and specific, quantifiable targets.” - ESG 100 report.
“The ESG100 report examines the degree to which the corporate ESG reporting of the 100 largest listed companies in Denmark, Norway and Sweden provides valuable information for relevant and interested decisionmakers of both the financial and non-financial kind.” – Position Green.

Elkem has received several recognitions for sustainability strategy, governance and transparent disclosures the last years. In January the company received a platinum rating from Ecovadis for the first time, ranking at top 1% of 90 000+ companies on sustainability disclosures.
