Recently, the Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission issued the Notice on the Recognition of Jiangsu Provincial Health Enterprises in 2021. Nanjing Adisseo was among the first batch of provincial health enterprises honored with the title of Jiangsu Provincial Healthy Enterprise in 2021.
Adisseo has always placed workers’ health in an important position, incorporating the health concept into its management. The company took the opportunity to build itself into a “healthy enterprise” through application, preparation of the plan, and establishment of a leading group. It has designated the departments that were responsible for developing a healthy enterprise and further optimized its management system, healthy environment, health management and services, and health culture. Bluestar Adisseo has operated the labor union as a link to establish a coordinated dialogue mechanism between relevant parties of the enterprise and employees, boosting the development of a healthy enterprise. It was successfully created through the rigorous district preliminary review, municipal on-site review, provincial final review, social publicity and other procedures.
Regarding the enterprise management system, Bluestar Adisseo, according to the content and requirements of developing healthy enterprises, has formulated the implementation plan for a healthy enterprise, improved the systems related to workers’ health, and revised the Occupational Health Management Procedures, the Clean Production Management Regulations, and the Waste Management Procedures in accordance with the requirements of the Occupational Disease Prevention Law and the Workplace Safety Law.
In terms of a healthy environment, the office and production areas are completely separated in the production layout. Smoking is prohibited in the factory, with the green area exceeding 30%. With respect to occupational health management and services, the company arranges health checkups for new employees from the moment they report, organizes annual checkups for all employees on a regular basis, analyzes and interprets their medical reports, and conducts targeted health lectures, such as Early Screening and Hierarchical Management of Pulmonary Nodules and Health and Disease of Thyroid. To protect the rights and interests of female employees, the company conduct female health lectures, purchase specific disease insurance for female employees, and add medical checkup items for women in addition to the annual medical items to protect the health of employees in all aspects.
In the corporate health culture, there is a health education and publicity corner, the content of which is changed at least once a quarter. Health tips are set up in office halls, cafeterias and other public places.
