In April 2021, Shanna Rubber, led by its Technology Department, coupled with the joint efforts of its Information Planning Department, Operation Office, R&D Center and five other departments, applied for an enterprise with intellectual property advantages in accordance with the Notice of Shanxi Provincial Administration of Market Supervision on Applying for Enterprises with Intellectual Property Advantages in 2020. Each division has been performing its own duties by reviewing relevant tasks and making continuous improvements.
Through multiple-month preparation, Shanna Rubber passed the intellectual property management system certification and received the Intellectual Property Management System Certification issued by Zhongzhi (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd. Thanks to the outstanding performance of the company’s intellectual property management, Shanna Rubber was recognized as an enterprise with intellectual property advantages by Shanxi Provincial Administration of Market Supervision through strict review and public announcement on November 30, 2021, with the development period of the advantageous enterprise ranging from September 2021 to August 2024. Only 15 enterprises in the province were certified as those with IP advantages, with Shanna Rubber representing the sole one in Datong.
Through this application and standardization, Shanna Rubber has enhanced its ability to create, manage, apply and protect intellectual property rights around itself. The key lies in the standardized system for resource management, basic management and implementation and operation of enterprises. The system can be used to standardize the management of intellectual property resources in the R&D, production and operation, avoid the risks of infringement and loss of proprietary intellectual property rights and help establish a well-established incentive mechanism.
