On the list of 2019 Fortune Global 500 released on July 22, ChemChina ranks 144th, up by 23 places over 2018. It is the 9th consecutive time for ChemChina to be on the list of Fortune Global 500, and its ranking has been increased year by year.
In terms of quantity, amongst the world's top 500 companies, 129 are from China, exceeding the 121 companies of the United States for the first time in the history. Even the enterprises in Taiwan are excluded, the number of Chinese enterprises in the Chinese mainland (including Hong Kong) reached 119, on a par with that of the United States. It is a historic change as the number of Chinese companies kept pace with that of the United States for the first time.
