Recently, Membrane Industry Association of China published the “2017 Science and Technology Award of Membrane Industry Association of China" results, the “high performance flat nanofiltration and reverse osmosis composite membrane research and industrialization” project of Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology Development Center Co. Ltd. won the first prize.
Breaking through developing reverse osmosis membrane for seawater desalination and high-performance nanofiltration component technology and industrialization, the project adopts advanced analytical technology and introduces international advanced composite membrane production line to realize real-time online monitoring of composite membranes and product quality control, and has greatly improved the quality and yield of membrane components through the R&D and design of the first fully automatic production line for spiral-wound membranes in China. Through the project, high-performance nanofiltration and reverse osmosis composite membranes have been successfully developed, and a production line has been established, with the yield of membranes reaching 95%. The high-performance flat nanofiltration and reverse osmosis composite membranes developed by the project have the membrane element removal rate performance comparable to that of similar foreign products, and can be widely applied to the desalination of seawater, brackish water with high salinity, and the deep purification of micro-polluted water. Compared with imported like products, it has the advantage of low price.
