Adisseo established an R&D center for chemical processes -- CINACHEM (Adisseo Chemistry Innovation Center) -- in Saint-Fons, France, on May 21, to improve its R&D capacity in the Rhone-Alps region, at a cost of 33 million euros and about 3 million euros for the R&D area. The center will cooperate closely with some 80 enterprises in the region and employ 370. By 2015, it is expected to hire more than 10 engineers and R&D personnel, while adhering to environmental protection and safety standards.
Adisseo has been involved in the production, R&D and sales of animal nutrition additives, since 1977, and has committed itself to business in the region. It recently put 112 million euros into two production bases, in Saint-Clair-du-Rhone and Roussillion, and with the support of various processes, competitive production bases, universities, and an industrial system, it has increased its cooperation in the region and with Axelera.
