In recent years, Adisseo has accelerated its “Two Pillars” strategy worldwide, consolidating its leadership in the methionine industry while expanding its specialty products business. This year, it successfully launched the revolutionary innovative product Hydroxy-Selenomethionine “Selisseo®” in China, driving iterations and upgrades in selenium nutrition applications in feed and farming. In the field of nutritional additives, by establishing the gold standard for liquid methionine application systems, Adisseo has helped the agriculture and animal husbandry industries reduce costs and increase efficiency, promote environmental protection and energy saving, achieving a win-win situation for both economic and ecological benefits. Adisseo also showcased its functional protein source, Ficop® single-cell protein, which provides innovative solutions and vast imaginative spaces for the global shortage of protein resources due to its unique nutritional value and exceptional performance. The Precise Nutrition Evaluation (PNE) tool once again appeared at the Expo, assisting the feed production and farming industries in accurately assessing the nutritional and feeding value of feed ingredients.
Elkem, integrating intelligent technology with sustainable development concepts, presented its innovative solutions in four core areas: “Smart Mobility,” “Life Sciences,” “Smart Cities,” and “Comfortable Living” under the theme “Exploring New ‘Silicone’ Paths.”
Elkem has empowered core automotive electronic components with AI technology, leading the industry towards safer, smarter, and greener advancements. Its meticulously crafted Electronic Control Unit (ECU) solutions precisely manage critical electronic systems in vehicles, enhancing overall performance. The protection solutions for Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs) provide a protective barrier for automotive electronic components, effectively resisting external corrosion even under extreme conditions and enhancing the durability and lifespan of the components. In the development of wearable devices and skin-contact products, Elkem’s high-peel flexible silicone gel ensures comfort and environmental friendliness while maintaining adhesive performance.
The wearable device skin patches showcased can be reused up to 10 times without leaving any residue, greatly ensuring product stability. For scar care, the Scar Care Ointment, containing Vitamins C and E, effectively promotes the fading of scars such as stretch marks and growth lines, providing targeted care for patients. Elkem’s cold-shrinkable cable accessories and plug-in connectors made from BLUESIL™ EP series materials, showcased at the Expo, are ideal for green power facilities. In the realm of daily life, innovations abound, from eco-friendly and skin friendly 3D-printed silicone face masks to hair care essence oils, from smartphone camera modules to VR glasses, and even stress-relief toys like “squeeze balls,” all bringing superior experiences to consumers.
Riding the wave of the CIIE, Elkem also celebrated its 120th anniversary. Marianne Sivertsen Næss, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Affairs of Norway, Vebjørn Dysvik, Norwegian Ambassador to China, and Tobias Svenningsen, Consul General of the Norwegian Consulate in Shanghai, graced the celebration, jointly witnessing this moment of glory.
