On December 16, Adisseo successfully achieved intermediate delivery for Phase One of its 37,000-ton/year Specialty Products Feed Additives Project, known as the FOSIC Project. The event was attended by key figures including Zhu Xiaolei, Party Secretary and General Manager of Adisseo China, Siguier Fabien, Executive Vice-President Human Richness, Ethics & Transformation of Adisseo on globally as well as local dignitaries Xia Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Lishui District in Nanjing, and Cui Changlong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Baima High-tech Zone.
In recent years, Adisseo has been actively pursuing its global “Two-Pillar” strategy, which aims to consolidate its leadership in the methionine industry while accelerating the growth of its specialty products portfolio. The FOSIC Project is a cornerstone of this strategy and represents a pivotal step in the ongoing implementation of Adisseo’s “China Integration Strategy.” As the company’s most significant specialty products manufacturing facility in China, the project underscores Adisseo’s dedication to bolstering its competitive stance in the Chinese specialty products market. It exemplifies the company’s efforts to support business growth, optimize production layout, and improve customer service levels through capacity expansion and project optimization. Furthermore, it aligns with the directives of the Central Economic Work Conference 2025, emphasizing “leading the development of new productive forces through technological innovation and building a modern industrial system” as implemented by Adisseo China.
With a total investment exceeding RMB 300 million, the FOSIC Project commenced construction on August 31, 2023. Upon its commissioning in 2025, Adisseo China will enter a new era of “R&D, production, and sales of specialty products.” This will not only significantly improve the company’s responsiveness to the needs of its local customers but also diversify its product offerings and further strengthen its core competitiveness.
